Bridger Aerospace and OroraTech Advance Integration of Space-Based Data into IGNIS for Centralized Wildfire Intelligence
Bridger Aerospace is partnering with OroraTech USA to integrate space-based thermal wildfire intelligence into Bridger's IGNIS mobile-first wildfire operations platform, which serves state, federal, county, and municipal wildfire agencies.
OroraTech's Wildfire Solution platform aggregates data from more than two dozen public satellites plus its proprietary thermal imaging constellation, and will feed fire detections, thermal mapping, fire intensity, and predicted fire spread into IGNIS.
The integration was already tested during the Grasshopper Fire near Oregon's Mount Hood, where a Bridger analyst used an OroraTech satellite-derived fire perimeter as input to a spread prediction model that accurately anticipated fire progression.
No financial terms or contract value were disclosed; the companies plan joint customer engagements and validation with wildfire agencies, making follow-on agency contract wins the metric to watch.
