BioCardia Reports Second Quarter 2026 Business Highlights and Financial Results
BioCardia received positive regulatory signals from Japan’s PMDA for its CardiAMP Cell Therapy and from the FDA regarding the sufficiency of its CardiAMP HF II trial for approval.
The FDA also indicated that DeNovo approval of its Helix delivery system is possible, while clinical data for CardiAMP in refractory angina showed improved exercise tolerance and reduced angina episodes.
Financially, the company narrowed its Q2 net loss to $1.6 million and raised $4.9 million via an ATM facility, ending the quarter with $4.1 million in cash to fund operations into 2027.
