Geiger Hits Again at Apollo: Second Hole Intersects 45 Metres of Shallow Uranium Mineralization Starting at 40 Metres Depth, 100 Metres Along Strike on the Kiggavik Trend
Geiger Energy's second hole at Apollo (APL26-002) intersected 45 metres of elevated radioactivity starting at ~40 metres depth, a 100-metre step-out that hit shallower than the discovery hole.
The hole hit the same altered breccias and Andrew Lake Fault structure seen at the Fox discovery, which lies 10 kilometres away along a ~17 km fault corridor extending onto Orano's Kiggavik Project — making Apollo Geiger's second grassroots discovery of 2026.
Radioactivity peaked at 402 cps downhole (~8x background); assay results are expected later in the year and the next drill program is planned for early June 2027. Only one of Apollo's three gravity anomalies has been drilled, with 50+ additional targets across Aberdeen.
