BioStem Technologies announced the USPTO issued one new patent and three notices of allowance, with Mexico's IMPI issuing one additional notice of allowance, across its placental and umbilical cord tissue technologies.
The patents cover sterile human placental allografts for wounds and diabetic foot ulcers, micronized umbilical cord compositions for wound healing, and umbilical cord extracts for joint cushioning and inflammation treatment.
The company's IP portfolio now includes more than 100 patents and applications worldwide, supporting its wound care, surgical and joint allograft products.
