BTCS Reports Gross Profit of $1.5 Million and 61% Gross Margin for Second Quarter 2026
BTCS reported Q2 2026 revenue of $2.4 million, up 14% quarter-over-quarter, driven by a 48% increase in DeFi revenues to $1.5 million. Gross profit grew 47% sequentially to $1.5 million, achieving a 61% gross margin as the company scales its high-margin Imperium business line.
The company strengthened its balance sheet by reducing total debt obligations by nearly $25 million to $50.4 million, primarily through the repayment of DeFi protocol borrowings including $8.2 million of Aave debt.
Despite a net loss of $34.9 million attributed to non-cash unrealized losses on digital assets due to Ethereum price declines, management emphasized progress toward profitability and expects Imperium to remain the primary financial driver for the remainder of the year.
