CBAK Energy Expands Model 32140 Capacity at Nanjing Phase II, Advances Digital Manufacturing
CBAK Energy announced a long-term plan to expand production capacity at its Nanjing Phase II facility from 3 GWh to 18 GWh, targeting a sixfold increase to support large cylindrical cell manufacturing.
The facility produces the Model 32140 full-tab large cylindrical cell, which has reached cumulative deliveries of 92 million units as of August 7, 2026.
The expansion utilizes an integrated manufacturing approach with 100% automation of core processes and AI-enabled inspection to maintain quality and traceability at scale.
