Codexis Enters into an Agreement with Pioneering siRNA Drug Innovator to Leverage the ECO Synthesis Manufacturing Platform to Create Stereo-defined siRNA
Codexis signed an agreement with an unnamed pioneering siRNA drug innovator to explore stereo-defined fragment synthesis using its ECO Synthesis Manufacturing Platform.
Under the deal, Codexis will enzymatically produce stereo-defined oligonucleotide fragments that the innovator will assemble into final duplexes via ligation, benchmarked against conventional solid-phase synthesis on purity and product quality.
The collaboration is an early evaluation stage with no disclosed financial terms, but it represents commercial traction for the ECO Synthesis platform in the growing RNAi therapeutics market.
