CERo Therapeutics reported a clinical update from its Phase 1 CERTAIN-T trial for CER-1236, noting that six patients have now been treated with no dose-limiting toxicities observed.
Patient five, who had refractory acute myeloid leukemia, saw bone marrow blast counts drop from baseline to 7% by Day 42, enabling an allogeneic stem cell transplant on Day 71.
The company has initiated the third planned cohort, which will evaluate a higher dose of one billion cells per patient and expand to include myelodysplastic syndromes and myelofibrosis.
