CNFinance Announces First Half of 2026 Unaudited Financial Results
CNFinance reported a sharp widening of its net loss to RMB399.5 million for the first half of 2026, compared to RMB40.4 million in the prior year period, largely due to a significant increase in credit loss provisions to RMB340.7 million.
Total interest and fees income plummeted 78% year-over-year to RMB89.5 million, reflecting a substantial reduction in the company's outstanding loan portfolio as it focuses on optimization and risk management.
Despite the top-line decline, the company reduced operating expenses by 58% and achieved cash recoveries of approximately RMB600 million from overdue loans with an overall recovery rate of 103%.
