51Talk Online Education Group Announces Second Quarter 2026 Results
51Talk reported Q2 2026 net revenues of US$32.4 million, up 58.8% year-over-year, with gross billings of US$39.3 million (+38.1% YoY) exceeding the high end of the guidance issued in June 2026. Active students reached approximately 138,100, up 51.3% from a year earlier.
Losses continue to narrow: operating loss was US$2.1 million versus US$3.2 million a year ago, net loss attributable to shareholders was US$3.1 million, and the company generated US$4.9 million of net operating cash inflow. Gross margin held nearly flat at 73.9%.
On July 1 the company launched its next-generation learning product Global Communicator, built with strategic partner Oxford University Press, with lessons generated end-to-end by its AI-powered content production platform.
Q3 2026 guidance calls for gross billings of US$41.0-43.0 million, implying a sharp deceleration to roughly 1.3%-6.3% YoY growth against an exceptionally strong prior-year comp; management says it is investing more efficiently while moving toward profitability.
