Power Metallic Extends Lion 25% Deeper as Power Metallic Intercepts 5.70 Meters of 14.00% CuEqRec¹ in Hole 26-125
Power Metallic Mines (TSXV: PNPN) reported the first deep-drilling assays from its Summer 2026 program at the Lion deposit, part of the Nisk project it is earning up to 80% from Critical Elements Lithium Corp. (TSX-V: CRE).
Hole PML-26-125 cut 5.70 metres at 14.00% CuEqRec, including 2.15 metres at 24.62% and 20.30% copper, at nearly 800 metres vertical depth — the deepest intersection to date at Lion and roughly 25% deeper than the deepest hole used in the recent mineral resource estimate.
A second hole, PML-26-121a, returned 7.70 metres at 3.28% CuEqRec at nearly 650 metres depth, and management said the deposit remains open at depth with more assays from deep and regional drilling due in the coming weeks.
For Critical Elements Lithium, the positive depth extension supports the value of its retained interest in Nisk, though this is a partner-issued exploration update rather than a direct disclosure by the filer.
