Duos Technologies Sells Its GPU-as-a-Service Entity to Axe Compute, Accelerating Its Shift to a Pure-Play AI Colocation Platform
Axe Compute (Nasdaq: AGPU) closed its acquisition of Duos Technologies' GPU-as-a-Service entity, taking 100% of the special purpose vehicle holding the GPU clusters and related equipment supply and financing positions.
Axe assumes the approximately $98.1 million GPU equipment financing burden and will pay Duos $42.9 million in consideration via evenly scheduled monthly payments over 60 months; Duos in turn will lease GPU capacity from Axe under a supply arrangement.
The deal deepens the AGPU-DUOT relationship following August's five-year hosting order across 55 MW with over $500 million in total contract value, and makes Axe the equipment owner-operator while Duos focuses on colocation landlord economics.
Service to the Columbus, Georgia end customer continues uninterrupted under a revised five-year agreement.
