THE DIXIE GROUP REPORTS NET INCOME FOR THE SECOND QUARTER OF 2026
For the second quarter of 2026, The Dixie Group reported net sales of $68.6 million, essentially flat compared to the prior year, while net income from continuing operations was $1.1 million or $0.07 per diluted share.
The company achieved a gross profit margin of 29.5% for the quarter, up from 29.2% a year ago, driven by favorable pricing and cost reductions from its Profit Improvement Plan.
Year-to-date results show operating income nearly doubling to $6.4 million and net income swinging to a profit of $2.5 million, supported by margin expansion despite a 2.7% decline in six-month net sales.
