ENERGY SERVICES OF AMERICA ANNOUNCES AGREEMENT TO ACQUIRE FAMCO, INC.
Energy Services of America signed an agreement to acquire substantially all operating assets of FAMCO, Inc., a West Virginia water and sewer utility contractor, for a base purchase price of $6.95 million.
Consideration is split three-eighths cash at closing, one-half in ESOA common stock issued after closing, and one-eighth withheld pending a post-closing true-up; closing is expected on or about October 9, 2026.
FAMCO's workforce, equipment and water/sewer backlog complement Energy Services' existing utility construction operations, per President Douglas Reynolds.
