Eastport Soil Geochemistry Results at Selebi-East Project Identify Two Further Multi Kilometre Nickel-Copper Anomalies Tracking Prospective Amphibolite Host Rocks
Eastport completed its Phase II geochemistry and geophysical exploration program at Selebi-East in northeast Botswana, identifying two further multi-kilometre nickel-copper soil anomalies and bringing the total to more than four such signatures.
The anomalies correlate closely with mapped amphibolite host rocks, replicating the geological setting of the past-producing NexMetals Selebi Mine located 7km to the west, which produced for roughly 40 years.
CEO Daniel Major said the results position the company to progress to geophysics and final drill target definition, though soil anomalies alone do not confirm economic mineralisation at depth.
