FibroBiologics Announces Chondrocyte Spheroids Demonstrate Cartilage Repair in Preclinical Study of Degenerative Joints
FibroBiologics reported that its chondrocyte spheroids (FSdCS) demonstrated cartilage repair in animal models within four weeks of a single injection.
The preclinical study highlighted a four-day manufacturing process and potential for lower costs compared to other therapeutic approaches for degenerative joint disease.
Management characterized the results as proof of concept for a regenerative therapy that could eventually replace invasive surgical interventions.
