GigaMedia Announces Second-Quarter 2026 Financial Results
GigaMedia reported Q2 revenue of $2.13 million, a 182% increase quarter-over-quarter and 145% year-over-year, driven by a successful IP collaboration in Hong Kong.
The company narrowed its operating loss to $0.10 million and swung to a net income of $0.55 million, or $0.05 per diluted share, helped by a $0.37 million gain from reclassifying its investment in Aeolus Robotics.
GigaMedia now holds 33.35% of the voting rights in Aeolus Robotics, an AI-enabled service robot developer, after converting corporate bonds into preferred shares.
