Heritage Global reported Q2 revenue of $12.3 million, down from $14.3 million a year ago, and swung to a net loss of $15.9 million driven by noncash charges.
The operating loss of $20.9 million included an $18.2 million impairment and a $3.5 million credit loss provision tied to the strategic wind-down of the Heritage Global Capital lending unit.
Adjusted EBITDA totaled $1.2 million versus $2.8 million in the prior year, and subsequent to quarter end, the company acquired the assets of Boston Note & Mortgage III.
