iBio has dosed the first participant in its Phase 1 clinical trial of IBIO-600, an anti-myostatin monoclonal antibody for obesity and cardiometabolic disease.
This first-in-human study marks iBio's transition to a clinical-stage biotechnology company, validating its AI-driven discovery platform approximately two years after program initiation.
The randomized, double-blind trial will enroll approximately 32 adults with overweight or obesity, with data expected in the second half of 2027 to inform future development, including potential combination with GLP-1 therapies.
