iHuman Inc. Announces Second Quarter 2026 Unaudited Financial Results
iHuman reported Q2 2026 revenue of RMB173.4 million (US$25.6 million), down roughly 18% year-over-year from RMB210.9 million.
The company swung to a net loss of RMB17.5 million (US$2.6 million) from net income of RMB30.7 million a year earlier, as gross margin slipped to 64.1% and sales and marketing spend rose 17.2% on brand and promotion investment.
Average total MAUs fell to 20.72 million from 23.97 million, attributed primarily to declining newborn population in China; cash and short-term investments stood at US$148.5 million after acquisition payments and dividends.
Strategic highlights included the Liamiao English IP expansion, a smartwatch edition with Xiaotiancai that topped one million downloads, and a Universal Products & Experiences deal bringing Gabby's Dollhouse into Aha World.
