First Internet Bancorp Reports Second Quarter 2026 Results
First Internet Bancorp reported a strong turnaround in Q2 2026, with net income rising to $2.4 million, or $0.27 per diluted share, compared to $0.2 million and $0.02 per share in the prior year.
Total revenue increased 23% year-over-year to $41.1 million, supported by a 43 basis point expansion in net interest margin to 2.39% and a 56% jump in noninterest income.
Credit quality improved sequentially as the provision for credit losses decreased to $13.4 million, while management maintained full-year EPS guidance of $2.35 to $2.45 and forecasted further margin expansion.
