Inspired Provides Update on Brazil Regulatory Developments
Brazil's government has moved to prohibit regulated online betting and gaming, a decision that will impact substantially all of Inspired Entertainment's existing revenue contribution from Brazil while the ban remains in effect.
Inspired estimates the shutdown would reduce fourth quarter revenue by approximately $3 million if it remains in place through the end of 2026, and is not assuming a reversal in its current outlook.
The provisional measure must be considered by the Brazilian Congress within 120 days, and industry participants are evaluating legal challenges, so the outcome and timing remain uncertain. Inspired plans to update its full year 2026 outlook when it reports Q3 results.
