Inseego Completes Acquisition of Nokia’s Fixed Wireless Access Business
Inseego completed its acquisition of Nokia's Fixed Wireless Access business, first announced April 30, 2026, in a deal expected to approximately double the company's revenue.
The deal adds indoor, outdoor and millimeter-wave FWA solutions, roughly 250 employees, and carrier relationships across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Oceania and the Americas, with new operations in Amsterdam, Athens and Bangalore.
Nokia received approximately 1.9 million Inseego shares (about an 11% ownership stake), warrants for up to roughly 0.8 million shares at $4.26, and will pay Inseego an additional $10 million by October 15, 2026 to support engineering interoperability work.
The companies will also collaborate on AI-RAN, converged fiber, 5G connectivity and edge computing, with Nokia referring new FWA opportunities to Inseego.
