Lifeway Foods® Delivers Highest Quarterly Net Sales in Company History, Extending Record Growth in Second Quarter 2026
Lifeway Foods reported its highest quarterly net sales in company history at $66.9 million for Q2 2026, up 24.1% year-over-year and marking the 27th consecutive quarter of growth.
Despite the record top-line performance, gross margin contracted significantly to 19.5% from 28.6% due to elevated milk and packaging costs, resulting in net income falling to $0.1 million from $4.3 million in the prior-year period.
Management expects margin pressures to be temporary, forecasting a full recovery in gross margin and profitability in 2027 as milk costs normalize and operational efficiencies take effect.
