Mereo reported a Q2 net loss of $7.0 million, narrowed from $14.6 million in the prior year, with cash and cash equivalents of $30.1 million now expected to fund operations into late 2027.
The company announced an option and license agreement with Sentynl Therapeutics for alvelestat, potentially generating $40 million in upfront payments and up to $435 million in milestones if the option is exercised.
