Nobility Homes, Inc. Announces Sales and Earnings For Its Third Quarter 2026
Nobility Homes posted Q3 fiscal 2026 sales of $12.1 million, slightly up from $12.0 million a year earlier, with net income of $1.9 million and EPS of $0.60 versus $0.56 last year.
The nine-month trend is weaker: sales fell to $35.1 million from $39.0 million, operating income slipped to $6.0 million from $7.2 million, and EPS dropped to $1.66 from $1.87 as company retail stores sold fewer homes (137 vs 195) while lower-margin independent dealer volume rose (184 vs 129).
The balance sheet remains a fortress with $25.8 million in cash, CDs and short-term investments, no outstanding debt, $44.4 million of working capital, and book value of $18.52 per share.
Management expects higher interest rates, tariff-driven material inflation, supplier back orders, and labor shortages to keep pressuring results through fiscal 2026 and into 2027, even as Florida manufactured-housing industry shipments rose about 6% over the comparable period.
