Agility and FORT Robotics Announce Strategic Partnership to Advance Humanoid Robot Safety
Agility Robotics, the humanoid robot maker set to go public via Churchill Capital Corp XI (CCXI), signed an MOU with FORT Robotics formalizing a strategic safety partnership around the upcoming Digit 5 humanoid.
The partnership expands a multi-year engagement into a three-part safety architecture -- safety pendant, on-robot communications, and the jointly developed Offboard Safety Bridge -- covering joint hardware development, regulatory compliance, and deployment support.
Digit robots have logged more than 65,000 hours of operation with customers including Schaeffler, GXO, and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada; the deal is incremental validation for the pending CCXI-Agility business combination, though no financial terms were disclosed.
