Pyxis Tankers Announces Two-Year Time Charter for Pyxis Lamda at $31,000 per Day
Pyxis Tankers fixed its 2017-built MR product tanker Pyxis Lamda on a 24-month time charter (plus or minus 30 days) with CITGO at a gross rate of $31,000 per day.
The charter commences after the vessel's special survey, with the current employment expiring around November 20, 2026, and is expected to generate roughly $21.8 million in net revenue over the term.
At the new rate — $8,000/day above the current one — the vessel should contribute about $7.7 million in annualized EBITDA and $0.51 in annualized EPS, including roughly $0.27 of incremental earnings per share.
