Quantum-Si Presents Interim Proteus™ Data at World HUPO 2026 Demonstrating a Significant Step Change in Performance Compared to Platinum® Pro
Quantum-Si presented interim data at World HUPO 2026 showing its next-generation Proteus platform significantly outperforming the commercially available Platinum Pro across scale, accuracy, peptide identification and protein coverage.
In a control peptide study, Proteus delivered 30x more alignments per single chamber with a 4.8-fold lower median false discovery rate (1.36% vs 6.58%), and a full four-chamber run is projected to yield roughly 60x more alignments than Platinum Pro.
In a 24-protein panel, Proteus detected all 24 proteins versus an average of 20.3 on Platinum Pro, with 4.3x more amino acids detected per run.
The system is still unoptimized; commercial launch is expected in Q2 2027, so the results support the roadmap but are not yet revenue-relevant.
