Research Solutions' Scite & MDPI Collaborate to Make Open Access Research Discoverable, Attributed, & Measurable Inside AI Tools
Research Solutions (NASDAQ: RSSS) and MDPI announced a collaboration to index MDPI's journal portfolio in Scite and distribute it through the Scite MCP, making the content discoverable with attribution inside Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools.
The Scite MCP has served over 22 million requests since launching earlier this year, with monthly volume growing more than 30% month over month.
MDPI publishes more than 500 open access journals, so the deal gives RSSS's Publisher Gateway a flagship indexing win and a template for monetizing publisher AI-distribution rights, though no financial terms were disclosed.
