Retractable Technologies reported Q2 2026 revenue of $7.2 million, down 30.8% from $10.4 million in the year-ago quarter, with operating loss remaining at $5.1 million.
The decline was primarily attributed to reduced EasyPoint needle sales, with overall unit sales down 36.4% in the quarter and 21% for the first half, though domestic production increased to 42.4% of units manufactured from 38% a year earlier.
While Q2 net income was $2.8 million, this included a one-time $6.4 million gain on equity sales; without this, operations continued to deteriorate with first-half operating losses widening to $11.3 million from $9.8 million.
