New TTEC Digital study finds that while AI adoption is nearly universal, most models, processes, and teams aren’t ready to realize ROI
TTEC Digital released a study in partnership with CX Dive surveying 150 CX, IT, and contact center leaders, finding that widespread AI adoption has not translated to financial returns for most organizations.
The research indicates that zero respondents achieved cost reductions via AI, while two-thirds reported rising operational costs due to outdated operating models and fragmented data.
Additionally, the report notes that while 90% of leaders feel confident in deploying AI, only 1% describe their operating models as highly adaptive, highlighting a significant gap in readiness and governance.
