Tvardi announced positive topline results from a healthy volunteer study of its STAT3 inhibitor TTI-109, confirming the prodrug design and improved tolerability, and selected ulcerative colitis (UC) as the initial indication.
Financial results for the second quarter of 2026 showed R&D expenses of $4.0 million and G&A expenses of $2.6 million, resulting in a net loss of $6.5 million or $(0.69) per share.
The company reported cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments of $15.8 million as of June 30, 2026, down from $30.8 million at year-end 2025, and noted that advancing TTI-109 into UC will require additional funding and IND clearance.
