United-Guardian Reports Second Quarter Results
United-Guardian reported Q2 net sales of $3.11 million, a 10% increase year-over-year, with net income rising 16% to $728,579 ($0.16 per share). For the six-month period, sales increased 12% to $5.98 million and net income grew 30% to $1.55 million ($0.34 per share).
Growth was primarily driven by a 44% surge in cosmetic ingredient sales during the quarter, attributed to increased purchasing by distributor Ashland Specialty Ingredients following a period of destocking. Pharmaceutical sales grew 11% in the first half, led by the Renacidin product line.
Management reiterated its focus on expanding promotional efforts for Renacidin and raising market awareness for its natural products and medical lubricant business for the remainder of 2026.
