Westwood Holdings Group announced that its Westwood Salient Enhanced Energy Income ETF (WEEI) has surpassed $100 million in assets under management, marking a key milestone for the strategy that pairs dividend yields with covered call options.
The fund, which launched in April 2024, currently offers an annualized distribution rate of 11.3% and has generated a 1-year market price return of 20.86% as of June 30, 2026.
Management highlighted the strategy's ability to turn commodity volatility into income through its covered call overlay while maintaining diversified exposure across the energy value chain.
