Whitehawk Therapeutics Presents Real-World Analyses Supporting MUC16 as a Durable ADC Target in Ovarian Cancer at IGCS 2026
Whitehawk Therapeutics presented two real-world analyses at IGCS 2026 supporting MUC16 as a durable ADC target in ovarian cancer.
MUC16 expression remained high and stable after standard-of-care therapies and showed less treatment-associated variation than competing ADC targets FRα, TROP2 and NaPi2b; high MUC16 expression was also prognostic of poor real-world overall survival in HGSOC, the subtype accounting for roughly 70% of ovarian cancer cases.
The findings reinforce the scientific rationale for HWK-016, Whitehawk's MUC16-directed ADC in an ongoing Phase 1 trial (NCT07470853), and stem from a previously announced collaboration with Tempus AI.
